The first-ever oral treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is now available.
The FDA, the agency responsible for the approval of tadalafil, a new drug for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension, has approved it as the first oral treatment for BPH in men.
The drug, Cialis, is the only oral drug approved for the treatment of BPH, but tadalafil is not the first oral drug for the treatment of BPH, and the drug is not FDA-approved for this use.
Tadalafil is a phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitor, which increases blood flow to the penis, allowing for a more satisfactory response to sexual stimulation.
Cialis was first introduced as the first drug for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in men. However, tadalafil is still not approved for this use.
Although men are generally advised to try Cialis before they start a sexual activity, tadalafil has not been studied in women or women with BPH.
The treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is a condition in which the right heart becomes unable to pump blood to the lungs, which causes blood to rush into the lungs and cause a right ventricular (RV) thrombus (a widening of the artery leading to the heart's pumping chamber). This thrombus can become a serious lung-related condition.
Tadalafil is a medication that treats PAH by inhibiting an enzyme called phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE-5). This enzyme is responsible for breaking down and degradation of the compound that allows blood to flow to the lungs. Tadalafil belongs to a class of drugs called phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitors, and it is not approved for this use.
The FDA approved tadalafil in 2003, the first time a medication has been approved for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension. The drug was approved as a treatment for BPH in 2006, but it is not currently approved for this use.
Tadalafil is not approved for the treatment of PAH, although the FDA approved it to treat BPH in women. The drug is also not approved for the treatment of PAH in men.
Tadalafil is taken orally, and the dosage depends on the patient's condition and response to treatment.
Tadalafil is not approved for the treatment of PAH, but the drug is not approved for this use.
A single dose of tadalafil has not yet been approved for the treatment of PAH.The first oral treatment for BPH is no longer available, and this new treatment is now being evaluated.
Cialis is now available in tablet form and should not be taken more than once in 24 hours. In addition, tadalafil is not approved to treat BPH. The recommended starting dose is 10 mg daily.
The treatment for BPH can only be initiated by a specialist.
A single dose of Cialis has not yet been approved for the treatment of BPH.Tadalafil is not approved for the treatment of PAH.
Before you begin taking Tadalafil generic, its important to carefully read the Patient Information Leaflet. Make sure to review it each time you get a refill.
Take Tadalafil dosage orally, either with or without food, as directed by your healthcare provider. Tadalafil dosage should not exceed more than once a day. Swallow the tablet whole. Do not split it or crush unless advised.
Your daily dosage will depend on your medical condition, how you respond to medications, and any other medications you currently take. Before you take ED treatment pills, ensure that you inform your healthcare service provider of any prescription drugs, over-the-counter medicines, and any other supplements you take.
If you are also using finasteride alongside Tadalafil to treat any symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), discuss the duration of treatment and dosage you will need with your healthcare provider.
For erectile dysfunction (ED), tadalafil citrate may be prescribed in two ways:
Follow your doctors instructions carefully based on your specific needs and condition.

This is because Cialis may reduce the blood-flow to the penis and BPH symptoms by enlarging the arteries, leading to a lower threshold for arousal.
Follow your doctor's instructions for taking Tadalafil generic if you are using tadalafil for ED. To ensure you do not forget, take it regularly.
If you are using tadalafil for ED, your doctor may advise against it. This is because the effects of tadalafil can alter your sexual response to Tadalafil. Discuss the possibility of unplanned pregnancy in terms of how soon you should take tadalafil for ED with your doctor.
For example, if you take tadalafil about 30 minutes before sex, you may take it about 1 hour before sex.
If you need to take more medication, such as certain OTC antifungal supplements, speak with your healthcare provider about the treatment plan you already have or take if you any concerns.

For BPH, tadalafil may be prescribed alongside other erectile dysfunction medications. However, it is important to consult your doctor before starting any ED medication.
Cialis (generic Tadalafil) contains generic Cialis as its active ingredient. Cialis is also available as a generic product known by the brand name, which is currently in clinical studies to determine its effectiveness and safety for BPH treatment. Cialis is approved by the FDA for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (impotence).Tadalafil generic Cialis contains the same active ingredient as Cialis. Unlike Cialis, which may decrease the effectiveness of tadalafil, tadalafil generic Cialis does not have the same potential for side effects. • Any alpha-blocker medicines e.g. doxazosin (Cardura), alfuzosin (Xatral), tamsulosin, terazosin, or Flomax, that you can buy in the pharmacy. (These medicines may be used to treat prostate problems or high blood pressure).
• Isosorbide mononitrate, isosorbide dinitrate, or use a GTN spray or tablets
for chest pain or use Rectogesic ointment?
• Nicorandil (Ikorel), used to treat angina
• Cimetidine, used to treat stomach or duodenal (peptic) ulcers
• Theophylline, used to treat asthma

1.Nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate): Cialis and nitrates both lower blood pressure. Taking them together can cause a significant and potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure (hypotension), leading to dizziness, fainting, or even heart attack or stroke. It is contraindicated to use Cialis with nitrates or recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrites).
2.Alpha-blockers (e.g., prazosin, terazosin, tamsulosin): Both Cialis and alpha-blockers relax blood vessels, which can lead to excessive blood pressure reduction when used together. This may result in dizziness, fainting, or orthostatic hypotension (a sudden drop in blood pressure when standing). If needed, your doctor may adjust the dosage or recommend spacing the medications.
3.Other antihypertensive drugs (e.g., atenolol, propranolol, enalapril, lisinopril): Cialis can enhance the blood-pressure-lowering effects of these medications. While this interaction is usually less severe than with nitrates or alpha-blockers, it can still cause dizziness or fainting in sensitive individuals. Close monitoring of blood pressure is recommended.
Cialis (tadalafil) can interact with certain foods and beverages, potentially altering its effectiveness or increasing the risk of side effects. Here are the key drug-food interactions to be aware of:

Erectile dysfunction affects millions of men globally, yet it has a stigma and common side effects that many patients find embarrassing. While there’s a stigma around ED, many patients don’t experience any of the common side effects of a common erectile dysfunction medication. The good news is that there are treatments that can help treat the symptoms and improve the quality of life for those who suffer from ED. One such treatment is the use of the following medications: the active ingredient tadalafil, which works by increasing blood flow to the penis, helping men achieve and maintain an erection.
However, there are a few key differences between Tadalafil and Viagra. While Viagra is the most commonly used medication for treating ED, it is not the only one. Another difference is that tadalafil is known to work in a similar way to Cialis, which works similarly to Viagra but can be more effective. It does not work on the same levels as Viagra but rather on a different set of dosages.
